Yes, and no. You can use the Linux tutorials for ISP.
I personally have a Linode running ScadaBR in a Debian distro with tomcat6 and MySQL 5.5. Runs beautifully and smooth with only 1GHz and 256MB.
But I don't know the process for a Amazon WS for example =/
